- I've been using mine for a few months now connecting
- exclusively to a pool of USR Couriers. I never have a problem
- at all with the modem. As far as I can tell, I always
- connected at 28.8 (using Linux most of the time).
- However, the part that makes the modem a "Vi," that is
- the Voice part is useless for most practical purpose.
- It's not a problem for me because I bought it at a price
- much lower than a regular but you might want to reasses
- your selection if voice mail is important for you.
- The other things people complained about here include
- the volume button that doesn't work as conveniently as
- with the regular Sportster, the problem at 57.6 setting
- with the old 28.8 (I don't know about the 33.6).
